When Food Design breaks the borders. A new book.

Almost two years ago I was contacted by Yolanda, who works at +86, and asked to co-edit a new book. The group had already worked previously on a book titled Designer 100, showcasing the work of 100 Chinese designers. This time they wanted to do a book focusing on food designers. We discussed options and we decided to feature 50% Chinese food designers and 50% food designers from the rest of the world. After two years of work, here it is.
I found this project a lovely way of merging cultures and walking one more step away from boundaries and borders. Humanity showcases its beauty and magic the time we come together and discuss our similarities. This book is one example.
The book was launched at Shanghai International Food Design Conference on Nov 8, 2023.
